Couple seeking relaxation beware

Had a surprising lovely reception where the staff greeted us with a complimentary drink to start our stay, reminded me of royalty in that moment. Another highlight was when we found a bottle of champagne waiting in our room to celebrate my partner's birthday.

It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable for the experience we got.

we had breads, cereals, pastries, and eggs for breakfast, it was reasonably priced. the bed was extremely comfy, and the room itself was separate.

It has really kind staff and new facilities.

The loction of the hotel was good and the room and breakfast also. The Pool is very small, looks larger on the pictures. But the view from the roof is great. The staff was mostly friendly, sometimes a little bit sharp.

The Location is amazingly perfect for me. and the design is so retro statistical.

The Rooms are a bit small.

The room was very good and clean. To friends travelling together, attention to the bathroom: the walls are made of glass and there is no privacy in taking a shower. The breakfast was also very good: good quantities, good quality and variety. We did order room service, and everything went well. The hotel is not tottaly central, but is only 4 metro stations away from Plaza de Catalunya, with no need to change train. Since metro is a very safe transport, we did travel day and night with no problem.

The staff, mainly at the reception, is not very nice. However, they are very helpful in providing any kind of information.

I like the contemporary design of the room. The hotel's location is perfect! It's accessibility to the train station and Glories mall, which are just few steps away. The barcelona hop-on/off bus (red one) also has a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Then Agbar tower is jusz beside it.

Hotel rate does not include breakfast. Breakfast is expensive.

Had stunning and pleasant location in a very nice area of Poblenou, metres from Glories.

A problem with our room occured, so we were transfered to another four-star hotel for the first night of our stay. The hotel payed for our taxi rides both to the other hotel and back.In order to make up for the inconvenience, the Silken offered us an upgrade in a suite, as well as free breakfast for the rest of our stay. We were very pleased with this, because although the first night we stayed in a different hotel, the facilities we were offered were excellent.

Cool rooftop vibes!

Just spent 4 nights here and loved the rooftop bar! The views were killer, perfect spot for evening drinks. Staff was chill and super helpful, but we had a little trouble finding the entrance-it felt kinda sketchy at night. The in-room breakfast was a nice touch, though the room was a tad smaller than I expected.

We enjoyed the chic design of the hotel and amenities.

Easier access to wi-fi. Since we were travelling internationally without a cellphone, we could not use it.

great design but service could improve

The hotel had a fresh and inviting décor that stood out . I appreciated that my small dog was welcome.

Although Diego at the front desk was friendly, I was disappointed with the duty manager's demeanor.

The hotel was amazing and the staff very heplfull. We have enjoyed our stay and would definately go back again!!
